How to calibrate the analog input card?

rahul_shukla_491 Posts: 10 Rating: (1)	alindsay Hi All, I have wired some PT100's into an ET200M(s7-300) analog input card, I am reading the temperature ok but i dont think its 100% accurate. I want to calibrate, when i wire my certified PT100 simulator i get the following Simulator - 0.0 25.0 50.0 75.0 100.0 PLC - 0.5 25.2 50.1 74.9 100.0 I cant find any way to calibrate the analog input card and i cant find a block to enter a 10 point curve. Can anyone help me ? System is PCS7 5.2, CPU 416-3, IO is ET200M

This may be your best solution. The thread spoke alsostates that there is a function that will allow you to correct the error somewhat, however, the non-linearity of resistance to temperature will not be easily corrected. If you need accuracy and you do not want to use the converter, the 6ES7 331-7SF00-0AB0 and the 6ES7 331-7PF01-0AB0 have the best resolution. The modules are designed for low-voltage / temperature inputs and will produce the best results in your application. FYI. There is a new calibration feature in SIMATIC PDM. Unfortunately, there are only a few modules that support these features. The latest release of the HART analog input and output modules and a 6 channel TC module (6ES7 331-7PE10-0AB0). I suspect that temperature modules will be adding this feature in the future.
