First of all we have to know do you use a Panel, a WinCC Advanced Runtime or a WinCC Professional Runtime? WinCC Advnaced RT and Comfort Panels: -> Create a Script in Scripts editor -> use a Tag -> Events-> Value change for triggering (do not forget to set the aquisition mode to cyclic continous) WinCC Professional Runtime: Here you have a lot of possibilities to do that. But if you want a Script that it triggered independet to the current screens you have to use a Script in Global Script editor and then you can use the "Scheduled Tasks" Editor for triggering (Tag Trigger) Here you have to define the aquisition cycle and other settings. VB Script enabled with data format Integer, Word and Real but not with Boolean. I am using a Boolean tag from PLC which will be ON after Component measurement in Auto Sequence to run the VB Script. All Log data I am reading from PLC Tag. Is it possible to use Boolean tag from PLC to run VB Script in HMI?

If you want to run the script only on rising edge, you have to check the value of the tag in the script and jump to the end, if value = FALSE. Regards, Frink

Every Tag has an Event" Value Changed". Use the hints from my post and the last Post from Prof. Frink then you will get is run. Bye Murof
