Are there a possible to check if there are any active alarms ?

If your alarm are generated at PLC side then it's easy - your PLC allways knows if there is any active alarm. I mean you can check your alarm logic and see if there is active alarms or not. In case of alarms are generated on tag limits inside HMI, you can run some script on limit violation even with some logic. If you need to view only active alarm then Solution.finder solutiuon is good. Also you can use filtering on alarm view (more info in help system).

does anyone know if this option is still available for wincc v11?
I can't seem to find how to change my selection highlight color.
The only options I see in the appearance tab are background and foreground color.
I'd rather have it transparant or the same as the background color if transparant isn't possible.
