With this tester, you can proof the PIN configuration, cable breaks, attenuation measurement... For Profibus i use a profibus analizer, because the network can have more problems then just a bad cable. That counts for profinet too, just didn't have any problems yet that makes my boss convinced we need a better tool Regards, Marcjan
