How to collect data from Table in Simotion using TP900Comfort Panel

Short question and please for highly precise answer.

I'm using Simotion D 455-2 to collect some measurements, CPU is writing that values into one-dimension array.

I would like to save them on USB Stick as CSV files. In project I define an few historical data's to catch and whole records from that array/table.

When I'm trying to choose array as logging tag it's invisible and I cannot choose them.

My question is - why ? Is that imposible to save whole array with records on USB Stick ?

I'm using TIA v13.

to log the array you need to add each array element as one logging tag.

Activate "Show all" on the bottom left corner of the window in which you select the logging tag. Now you can see and select the elements of the array HMI tag.

It has nothing to do with your USB stick, it's only about the datatype.

Even if im choose "Show all" it's still nothing to do. Window with choosing element is still empty.

Array is declared in ST language as real type and size from 0 to 2999 

Any ideas ?

I thought you could select the array elements in the HMI tag table directly. I can select them, but it seems the logging can't handle array allements in the HMI tags.

You have to select the array elements in the PLC in the selection window directly.
(Go to the DB/ PLC tag table and open the array to select the element.)

This creates an HMI tag of the data type Real in the HMI tag table.

This way you would have to add each array element one by one. You don't want to do that with several hundred.

A little shortcut: 

• Open the HMI tag table.
• Select the DB/PLC tag table where the array is located in the Project tree. Don't open it.
• Make the "Details view" window (located under the Project tree) bigger and open the array.
• Select all of the elements you want to log. (You can hold down shift and select the first and last one.)
• Drag & Drop them into the HMI tag table.

This way need to select only one of the elements in the logging selection window and afterwards you can copy&paste the other ones. Ther correct the number of the element and the tags are accepted.

The Syntax of such an array element as an HMI tag is similar to: DB1_ArrayOfReal{0}

I've made some screens which can help to explain how it's defined array (I'm interrested in only Table2) and how it's visible in TIA V13. I'm using Simotion D455-2 as PLC Proxy - configuration is visible in project tree.

Take a look especially on screen no.2 - maybe you have some idea, why it's still invisible table2 content in tags windows ?
