how to configure and use the SYSTEM ATTIBUTES in STEP7??

but i need more about system attributes and its configuration for individually for WinCC, WinCC Flexible and For protool project..

as my project contains all in one and all i made it in integreted project...!!!!

and i want to do some smart and time saving work..

thanks once again..

The possible attributes and their descriptions are available in the Online Help of the SIMATIC Manager under "Help > Help Topics > Attributes for Blocks and Parameters > System Attributes".
If you insert blocks from changed system libraries (e.g. after a version change) into an existing project, before inserting, make sure that you change the attributes of the blocks back to suit your wishes.

System attributes are inter-application attributes. They control and coordinate functions between individual applications. For example, messages only need to be configured once in the S7/M7 blocks. You can use the same configuration to display the messages on your visualization system.
The system attributes are divided into system attributes for blocks and system attributes for parameters.

System attributes for blocks:

· System attributes for blocks apply to the whole block.

· System attributes for blocks can be defined for FBs, SFBs, FCs, SFCs, UDTs, OBs, and DBs, but not for VATs and SDBs.

· If a system attribute for a block is modified, a new code time stamp results. The time stamp therefore shows whether changes have occurred.

· In the case of function blocks (FB), the system attributes for blocks are inherited by the instance data block. Any system attributes defined for the instance DB are appended to the FB.

· The system attributes for blocks cannot be changed for know-how-protected blocks.

System attributes for parameters:

· System attributes for parameters apply only to each individually configured parameter.

· Although a change in a system attribute for parameters results in a new code time stamp, the parameter time stamp (interface time stamp) remains unchanged.

· A system attribute for a parameter may be assigned only once for each parameter.

· The system attributes for parameters can be changed for know-how-protected blocks.

· Note: system attributes for parameters are not yet implemented for user-defined data types (UDTs).

All system attributes for blocks and parameters which are allowed in function blocks or system function blocks are also allowed in instance data blocks.

Important Note

The names of the system attributes are key words that must not be changed. Changing them can lead to incorrect system behaviors and reactions.
