how to configure High/Low Signal & High/Low Engg Tags for a Analog Input value in S7

chin_ceptual Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am using a 8Channel, Analog Input, Range 4mA to 20mA . I want to know,how to configure High/Low Signal & High/Low Engg Tags for a Analog Input Channel in S7-300. It is possible in RS Logix 5000. How to configure it in Simatic Manager? Adios.

You need to manipulate the Analog signals and generate High/Low Bits through Comaprison in the Program. You will get so many tips in the Forum . Just Search 1 , 2 , 3

If you want much more advanced Features , then you need to program that yourself. And if you want many features in your Project , then you can look for PCS7 Software.

edsel lin Experienced Member Joined: 5/17/2010 Last visit: 2/21/2022 Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	As manmeet says you can use FC105, but this block only use the ENG value with REAL data type. The input value will use fixed value from 0 to 27648 for minimum and maximum input value. I just saw the links from Niranjan. Never tried but looks good. How can you standardize and destandardize analog values with STEP 7?
