I have a button on faceplate. When click on the button a pop up box should open.

For this, I am not finding showpopupScreen option in the event properties of the faceplate button.

Then how can I configure showpopupScreen option for a button in face plate.

What I do exactly is the following:

1- in your faceplate add button.

2- Go to events tab, drag and drop the Press or Release event of this button from left to right. Then release your faceplate.

3- add VB function with the following (ShowPopupScreen "Name of Your Popup", Screen X position, Screen Y position, hmiToggle, hmiAnimationOff, hmiMedium.

4- When you add the faceplate to any screen and then you go to its properties/events, you will see the event that you added when you created the faceplate (Press/Release). here you can excute your VB function.

So in the run time, if you press on your faceplate you can then toggle the popup related to that faceplate.

I have tried these instructions.

But pop up not opening.Also , this button and other object together form the faceplate look like a sticker.It means when press button, the button also don't have any animation.

I will post a video below. Please check it and let me know what to make changes.

I made one other faceplate which screenshot attached.Loop-1 and and pushbutton are one faceplate.Its working and popup screen opened.

The other one faceplate shown on the video contain a pushbutton not working.Also I changed the push button. But still sane condition.There one difference in the both trial, the second one, the push button placed above a black color rectangle.This push button dont blink(natural animation of a push button) when click on it.This face plate and pushbutton looks like a sticker.

The first one in the screenshot, both objects are not one above other.Also push button on the faceplate got animation(blink when click).

 Thanks. I have checked the TIA file above and seen a pop up of hello. My faceplate contain a button which is still malfunctioning. I have added tags for all the 64 instance. So I will rectify it instead of making new.

I will rectify it, them post the reason.

Finally found that wired reason for buttons not working on face plate.

A text field kept on the faceplate in order to identify faceplate number .Faceplate was below the text field as per Order.

When I moved away the text field from faceplate and simulate, the buttons started to work.

In simple, Faceplate should be placed at front of all objects to work buttons on it.

That is Rt Click Faceplate- Order- Bring Front
