How to connect S5-115u to S7-416-3?

But for CR, from what i read in hotline and forum, there's no confirmation. Because i'm not sure that i can buy a new S5-ER for this purpose. Thx again.

Hi You can try another type connection - TCP/IP. On the S7-416-3 side you can put one CP 6gk7 443-1ex11-0xe0, and on other side S5-115U you add one CP1430 TCP/IP. And follow the instruction(aboutsettings) : click This type connection have some limitations (quantityofsend/receive data) regards

PROFIBUS, you can use an IM 308C or CP 5431 in the S5 and use either as DP Master / Slave or FDL in between the two PLC’s. This allows you to exchange some Bytes (up to 240 Bytes). 2. Serial interface, for both Systems serial Interfaces are available. there you can use serial protocols like RK 512, 3964R or ASCII on RS 232 or RS 485 wiring. Just to mention a view.
