How to copy the WP321 FB to own projects?

Siwarex WP321:

1. Download and unpack the first download from the internet:

2. Start TIA Portal V15.1

3. Select in TIA Portal V15.1 the Siwarex-project of TIA V14 and push the button “upgrade”.

4. After the upgrade, you can work in TIA Portal V15.1.

i've downloaded the WP321 "ready to use" projects for both S7-1500 and S7-300 and they seem to work fine in TIA portal 15.1. However, if i copy the WP321 FB to my own projects, TIA portal wants to compile these FB's during download, which fails because they're know-how protected. The same problem exists for the library, it's only available for TIA versions < 15.1, if an older library gets updated there's still this compilation error on the WP321 FB. Is there a TIA portal 15.1 library available by now?

I'm using TIA portal version 15.1.

In the ready-to-use projects I get a compilation error after i've changed the CPU from CPU315-2 PN/DP to CPU319-3 PN/DP. The same error appears if I copy the WP321 FB from the ready-to-use project to my own project. So if the CPU or it's firmware version changes, the block has to be recompiled.

Error message:

WP321DR This block is incompatible and must be rebuilt. This is only possible with a valid password.

That's why I asked for a TIA portal V15.1 library, then the FB's can be imported without recompiling them.

thanks for your project, now the error seems clear to me. The firmware version of the CPU's I have here is V2.8 (CPU 6ES7 318-3EL00-0AB0) instead of V3.3 (CPU 6ES7 318-3EL01-0AB0). There's no chance to update the firmware, 2.8.6 is the latest firmware for CPU 6ES7 318-3EL00-0AB0.

Another try with Simatic Manager instead of TIA portal: that works fine, the WP321 Function Block can be copied to my own project and downloaded to the CPU without any error.

So in the end the question is to have a WP321 suitable for a V2.8 CPU.
