How to corectly wire this trasducer to the input so that get a 4-20mA value?

Hello all. I have a similar problem with a analog input ON a ET200S unit. I am trying to connect  a 2 wire transducer (a 4-20 mA Endress Hauser FMX 21 level measuremet probe) to a analog input.  I have a 2 wire and a 4 wire input avaliable.
I tried to connect the probe to a 2 wire input but it doesn't work (value 32767 on the input), i guess because the loop doesn't have any power supply.

I connected the + of the probe to M+ and the – to M- (see the attached picture)

If I connect a 4-20 mA signal generator with it's own power supply to the input the input works. I get a 4-20mA value.

I tried to connect the probe to a 4 wire input, but it's the same. Can some one please point me in the right direction how to corectly wire this trasducer to the input so that I get a 4-20mA value.

I solved it yesterday. I'll draw a diagram when I get back to the office and post it.
