how to create a new standard object on a screen by means of VBS?

sinau Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	How can I create a new standard object (say a simple HMICircle) by means of a VBS script inside a normal event handler, such as a simple mouse-click? I could not find any methods like .Add or similar in the ScreenItems collection. Thanks a lot, Bye Luigi

sinau Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I would like to create in the current wincc screen, while in runtime, some new standard object as an action to a particular event. At the moment it's good to me to do it when mouse-clicking on a button on the same screen. I don't know how to do that in VBS; I was thinking of something like this: ------------ Dim obj Set obj = <instruction to create a new circle within the collection of items of the current page> ''Setting various properties of the new object obj.Top = <y value> 'y position in the graphics runtime window obj.Left = <x value> 'x position obj.Width = <radius value> 'radius of the new circle obj.Height = <radius value> obj.BackColor = <rgb color> 'filling color obj.Visible = true 'display the circle on the graphics (....) ---------- Maybe my approach is completely wrong, I think I need help. Then you can copy your standard objects in the picture, you needed it. at the property "Event">"Mouseclick" can you add vbs scripts. to change the color of the same object, you call the script, you do not need to create an object. You can change the property of the object (item) direct in that way: Item.Top = 100 Item.Left = 250 Item.BackColor = RGB(250,0,0) 'for the red color I hope i understood you right and i could help you regards cumulus
