How to create alarm event?

JesperJTP Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello I have an input I0.7 wich is an emergency button. How du i show a message on my Simatic panel?? I will need to create a HMI alarm, but how du i activate it? Somehow the HMI alarm, can only be triggert b an int, ushort, ulong and these data types can't be accessed from my program blocks? So basicly how du i show messages om my KTP 400 panel, wich button is pressed? So that if an emergency butten is pressed the display wil write "Emergency button pressed!" I hope it makes sense.. One is called bit message (You write the message text in HMI) and the other called message numbering in which you use some SFCs to trigger messages (Write the message text in STEP7). Briefly you can check the message system in ~~Visualization - The HMI Integration~~. Definitely you will have to read more and dig into both STEP7 and WinCC flexible help files. However I hope you find these FAQs helpful. 1- ~~What should you watch out for when using the alarm numbering procedure?~~ 2- ~~How do you display ALARM_S or ALARM_D messages with process values (so-called associated values) on a WinCC flexible operator panel?~~ 3- ~~How do you display messages in WinCC flexible?~~ ~~One more thing, Beside and emergency message, I prefer to make a big red flashing text box and assign attributes to it like flashing and visibility.~~ Best regards.
