How To Create an Executable to Simulation of HMI in TIA PORTAL

Andrés_Ariza Experienced Member Joined: 9/3/2014 Last visit: 3/7/2024 Posts: 79 Rating: (4)	Dear Experts, I have a Issue, I am Working with s7-1200 PLC and KTP700 HMI Basic Panel, In the software TIA PORTAL V13, I Can simulate the HMI KTP700 in the Software, but I would like to know if I can simulate the HMI KTP700 without need to open the TIA PORTAL, Something so like create an executable that with only one click in an icon in desk of my computer the simulation start to execute the program HMI, the PLC s7-1200 will be conected to my computer always. I can not to make a Runtime with WinCC and use my computer like an interface like normally anyone would do I will be grateful if you can help me.

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 1/17/2025 Posts: 22497 Rating: (3044)	Hi, is simple. Go to the project storage path. Here in the subfolder IM\HMI, search the FWC file in the Generates Subfolder and double click on it -> Simulation starts the project. Regards Christoph

Actually, I only have WinCC Basic for now, that's why I couldn't find the .fwc file. Is the physical path of windows. What he said earlier. For example the one. C:\ Project \ yourProject2 \ IM \ HMI \ {11866113-106400} \ Generates {{{{{This number is another, this is just an example}}}}}
