How to create motion control for stepper motor?

If your stepper motor drives uses 24V data signal, you could connect directly to the controller, if you need 5V data signal, you have to use a Signal Board, like SB1222 (6ES7222-1AD30-0XB0) with only DQ or SB1223 (6ES7223-3AD30-0XB0) with DI and DQ. For more information, see manual in chapter 10.3.and following... Motor stepper not working, I need pulse output for motor stepper, I already create Technology object and I create ladder as MC_Power, MC_MoveAbsolute etc, but when I download to the PLC and I connect to the drive the motor can not run. if you have an example for making to motion control ladder, please share it thank you Mr. dP Attachment _20180725_154635.jpg (417 Downloads)

Please read very carefully the instructions given for the Stepper Driver. The driver is meant for negative switching 5Vdc. If you use 24V, the voltage must be reduced with a resistor. (source: http://www.yankong.com/EN/proview-8-6.html) An NPN switching is expected. With no external resistor in the path of the output, the drive may easily be damaged. Get the connection sorted out first before attempting more trials. Talk to your supplier and have them guide you on how the connection should be made for your situation.
