How to create multiple text lists in Faceplate & add unique texts - WinCC V13 Comfort

Hi,

How to add text to Textlist in_Faceplates_(Context WinCC V13 Comfort.) Here I could create textlists but can't select individual text list & add rows specific to particular textlist.

The same texts are displayed in all textlists. Say if I want to create Text_List_1 is Current, Voltage, Power etc.. & Text_List_2 is Temperature, Pressure, Flow etc.. I couldn't do this in a faceplate. Instead if I add Current, Voltage, Power etc.. in Text_List_1, the Texts in middle section is same for all text lists. When used in project only Text_List_1 works & rest of them doesn't even display the wrongly assigned text.

How to Create them!?

the window with the text list you show (on the right side) is only for selecting text lists (and creating new empty lists). Close and ignore it for now.

The problem here is, that the window you need ("Text lists") is not visible, because there is an overlay that hides it.

I can't completely recreate the layout of your windows, the grey bar shouldn't be overlaying the "Text list entries" text.

The window you're missing is on top of the "Text list entries" window. There should be four windows in the middle, not three.

Try the following:

• Select the text list in the middle window.
• Try to drag the separator lines between the windows (gray or black).
• Try to hide/show windows by clicking in the little arrows on the separator lines (grey).
• Click on "Window". Select "Default window layout". Click on "Restore active window layout".

Once you have found the "Text lists" window you can select the text lists and the entries in the "Text list entries" window will change accordingly.

Afterwards you can click on your symbolic I/O fields and assign the right text list to each (in the window I told you to ignore in the beginning). Now that the new test lists aren't empty anymore the right entries should be visible.

You need to release the faceplate and update the instance before the changes are visible in runtime, of course.

As you said correctly it was the problem with displaying... But sadly, to find out this i had to cross check this in another laptop. I was surprised that the up down arrow was perfectly visible in the mid section of workspace where as same was not appearing in my system even after restart re install update etc etc... But i deliberately clicked on the space where up down buttons were expected & this is something crazy it is now visible.....

Who was the culprit!!!!!
