In my one of the project I am using g120 and S120. G120 Drive is used for drive the Main Cam and servo motor is used for drive one roller. Depend upon the Roller Moment the the twine length varied.  One external Profinet rotary absolute encoder used to find the angle it give the 0-360 degrees for one revolution

Now The problem is I need to make the Synchronous operation between the G120 and Servo Drive.

Example  I set twine length 100mm [ twine length may varied depend on the Customer Requirement]

If I set my machine rpm 14 then when my external Encoder Degrees  is in the range of 190 to 260 degrees the servo motor should complete  the 100 mm with in degrees in one revolution

So I need to match the servo motor speed with the main motor speed. How to calculate the servo motor speed from this parameters

Thanks for  your reply. I used the simotion d410 only. According to My Operation the external encoder Plays the major role. When I go for the Gearing or camming the External Encoder Should be the Master, But I am not used the Drive Cliq Encoder. I used the Profinet Encoder [6FX2001-5FN13]. How Can i Add the Profinet Encoder as the External Encoder

With d410 and the external encoder from your master, you should be able to do this.

Not simple, but not that difficult.  Unfortunately, SIMOTION is not the easiest platform to work with, but it  can do almost anything you want it to do.

Thanks For your reply. Now i am trying  to configure the  Profinet encoder as a external encoder but i got the Error  Logical address error. K8indly help me to solve this error.

Didn't check your project but

Did you load your telegram in the Hardware Configuration (slot 1.2)?  It should be 80-something, depending on what you want.  The example Navnag posted shows 83.  I used 81.

I did run a quick test on one of my projects and I did get the same warning.  However, I was able to configure the encoder as an External Encoder TO.

i Used the telegram 81 only I was able to configure the encoder as an External Encoder TO. but i got the new error  log in out value out side the range

Save and Compile your HW Configuration.

Do Consistency Check then a Save and Compile all.  I got that too.  Seemed to be OK after that.

Finally i Found the Reason for the Error ie i Enter the the i Address And Q  Starting Address Less than the 64 So Error Comes. 

Now i modified the Address 85 the Error Gone.
