How to enable Autoscale on a real HMI project?

Runtime Manager is a WinCC Unified PC RT application: it works only with WinCC Unified projects running on a PC either because that is their target environment, or because the PC is simulating the environment of a Unified Comfort Panel.  If you download a PC project to a PC (using the TIA Portal project download function), Runtime Manager will show the project as "Project".  If you start a WinCC Unified PC or UCP project using the TIA Portal Simulation function, Runtime Manager will show the project as "Simulation".

 Ah thank you.. hmh. I want to use the Autoscale feature that you can setup using the Runtime manager in settings, it works for simulations. How would I be able to enable Autoscale on a real HMI project?

Split from SIMATIC Runtime Manager Simulation to REAL.

Hmm... Being an old fogey, I am used to doing raster graphics which don't scale well, so I don't scale them.  SVG changes all of that.  I don't see a runtime setting for automatic scaling based on the browser window size.   I have found a method to do it, but it is cumbersome, and I hope someone can suggest a cleaner technique.  My inelegant method is:

1. Create a start screen that just has a screen window and a OnLoaded event script
2. (this is the inelegant part) In the OnLoaded event script, start an HMIRuntime.Timers.SetInterval() function that periodically reads UI.RootWindow.Height and UI.RootWindow.Width sets the screen window height & width to the root window height & width.  This will cause the screen window to adapt to the size of the browser window, but not very smoothly.
3. Configure the screen window "Fit to size" to "Fit screen in window"
4. Configure the screen window to display the main screen.
