I have installed PCS7 v8.2, accordance with APL v8.2 manual there are “ExtResOn” and “ExtReset” input parameter within “ConPerMon” block but as attached pictures there aren’t. Does anyone have a solution? AttachmentImages.zip (74 Downloads) |

amirab I think you got a little confused about the manual, happens to everyone. The parameters ExtResOn and ExtReset belong to the PIDConR block not the ConPerMon block. You'll find them as visible nubs if you look in the PIDConR_ConPerMon template of the APL Library and are available for interconnection to your process logic. |

Hi Heisenberg2, but i think Anti-windup is not implemented in the PIDConL block automatically and in order to have Anti-windup in the PIDConL block, shall be interconnected MV_HiLim and MV_LoLim parameters to the IntHoldPos and IntHoldNeg parameters manually. Best regard |

Hi amirab, you can interconnect the MV_HiLim and MV_LoLim with the IntHoldPos and IntHoldNeg, this does not create a disadvantage. Normally you use the inputs IntHoldPos and IntHoldNeg for a Anti-windup if you use a cascade control within the distributed control system (interconnection of the function blocks for master and slave controllers, see templates of the PCS 7 Advanced Process Library). If you use an actor that react only with limited speed to a change in the manipulated variable and that has an significant limitations of control performance, then you should take a look at the application example Equipment Modules for SIMATIC PCS 7 using the example of the Chemical Industry.
