How to get into the BIOS to enable the Boot from USB function?

this must be a prototype. 

And the quadcore devices have an example image preinstalled at the eMMc. You can only use this example image or the SIMATIC Industrial OS at a later stage. 

I wasn't successful installing another OS. 

For changing the boot order you have two options:

1. Boot the IOT2050 and login. Use command fw_setenv boot_targets  usb0 usb1 mmc0 mmc1. mmc0 is the SD card, mmc1 is the eMMc.
   Reboot the device and it will boot from USB, if there is a file the IOT2050 can boot. I was only successful with a development state of Industrial OS USB stick.
   You can use fw_printenv boot_targetsto check the current boot order
   
   
2. Use a TTL cable to get a serial connection. With that you can interrupt booting and change the boot order in a u-boot shell. Do you have such a cable, for example something like this?

Using the cable I linked in a earlier post the black cable needs to be at the pin with "1" printed at the board (Pin 1 is ground, just in case).

Then open putty and use a serial connection, choose the COM port which your TTL cable is assigned to and use Speed 115200.
