I have a similar issue, due to some SQL error due to which couldn't open the SQL by connecting to its server, so my colleague had reinstalled it but now couldn't find the SQL WinCC server, only could find default MSSQL Server and i have configured in my project for SQL WInCC.
And kindly find the other details as given below;

SQL 2014 is used.

WinCC RT Advanced V14.0 is used
IPC 677D with Windows 7 Ultimate is used.

And my question is how to get that SQL Server WinCC ? Kindly let me know.

Hello,

In our project we have used following;

1) WinCC RT Advanced V14

2) SQL Server 2014 

3) SQL has three servers on  installing namely;

   a) IPC name say SCADA

   b) SCADA\WINCC

   c) SCADA\WINCCPLUSMIG2014

4) And using VBScript we connect to SCADA\WINCC to dump data

but our problem is recently twice SQL got into error & couldn't once open SQL & once couldn't connect to the SCADA\WINCC server, thereby couldn't dump data.

So reinstalled SQL, but found only one Server which is SCADA & not the WINCC ones, so what could be the reason ?
