I'm using WinCC TIA Portal V15 and I can get the removable storage media status(plugged in or not) with file system controls Object by HMI VBS,but how to get the storage remaining capacity?

there are maybe other possibilities, but one is to use SIMATIC HMI Option+:

There you can configure tags for total, used and free memory on your removeable storage drive.

 Sorry,my problem is on HMI device like comfort panel.SIMATIC Option+ fuction only used by Portal V15.1 version,not V15,so I keep on waiting for solution.thanks!

do you have a PC Bases Runtime (Advanced Rt or Professional RT ) or a Panel Based HMi Device like a Comfort Panel?

Because the Option+ is only for Comfort Panel.

 Hi,

I don't think there is any standard function to do that. I cannot understand why. It is only a one function in WInCE. Just did that with Rockwell PanelViewPlus SDK. And as far as i know Comfort Panel uses ActiveX components like Rockwell. Siemens just displays them as objects in a tool box and as system functions.

I have tried two alternative ways of doing it, link below. Not good but those are only i got.
