Hi, I´ve just another idea: what about using "group displays" in your objects? The way they are normally used in WinCC/PCS7: - picture1: overview with a "master" group display - picture2: pdl with e.g. pumps (each with group display) - picture3: pdl with e.g. valves (each with group display) => if in picture 2 or picture3 an alarm/warning is generated the group displays in these pictures will blink => the PictureTree manager is "collecting" the values of the group displays in picture2 and picture3 and handing over an value tothe overview group display. perhaps this mechanism would be helpfull for your problem as well??? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/493670 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/17778440 in principle for the master group display a tag of its own is created, which represents the variables of groupdisplay in picture2/3 (by an OR-operation) nemo |
