How to install COM524 and open a program *.525

Ahoora - Jafari Experienced Member Joined: 3/27/2012 Last visit: 10/1/2024 Posts: 179 Rating: (4)	Hi Experts, We have a few COM524 (S5-CPU 115U) in the factory and I have a Zip file for COM525 and don't know how to install and use it! Unziped the folder and copied the files onto the COM-DB directory (I don't know why?) It doesn't have any Executable file to run it. Is there any body can help me to install and use it? We have Field PG-M2 and also Field PG-M3. Thank you

Navnag Platinum Expert Joined: 11/21/2007 Last visit: 9/25/2024 Posts: 2325 Rating: (308)	Hello Ahoora You can copy all the files to any folder ( Normally C:\STEP5\S5_SYS\S5_COM ) . To open the package go to the Menu option of STEP5 : Change->Others->Select the Folder in which the files are copied / installed. You can see the list of programs in that folder and select the one that you want to run. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag

I already copied the files to C:\STEP5\S5_SYS\S5_COM and don't see anything in that directory when I open it by " Change / Others ... " Should I see something or what? Still can not see or open the file Thanks Ahoora
