How to install the USB Wireless Lan Driver

soffio_mxy Member Joined: 5/12/2018 Last visit: 8/3/2023 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I wanna it connect to the wireless LAN with a USB Wireless LAN Driver (module:RTL8188CUS) But when I compile the drive file, system on IoT2050 will compilation error. Did you check if the WiFi stick works out of the box? It is not X1P1 and X1P2; it is X1P1 and X2P1, so the IP addresses must be different and in different subnets as these are two seperate interfaces. Best regards!

It can work successfully on other device I asked for the kernel header from SIEMENS, but it may not correct? I searched it on websit, if it is in OpenSourceSoftware.zip (1,8 GB) ?

There is discussion about that in this issue on github. Without compiling the driver the stick is not recognized as wifi0? I have read on some other forum that you also can install the dkms package or try to install linux-firmware
