Seems to have not all needed information in it.

If same cpu, I would have guessed copy everything to mmc, replace cpu, put in old mmc to new plc, copy everything over, release old mmc, put in new one and copy everything over again, but in the faq many important details are missing. Like with which cpus does this work, what mmcs are compatible or where to find this information out, what information might be lost if someone has not the project files or does not copy the user data and so on. Might need a redo to satisfy all this needs.

 You have not read the FAQ , right?

1) At present, they are S7-400 CPUs and S7-300 CPUs with MMC memory cards

which newer models you mean?
The FAQ is for MMC Card in S7-300 /S7-400 Series!

If you mean S7-1200 / S7-1500 you know that this PLC no longer use a MMC?

Hi,

no o don't say this.

but the principle how to handling the MMC/project is exactly the same for all S7-300/S7-400 independed which year the PLC was released.

The procedure was changed with the new generation S7-1200/S7-1500 because here the Memory Card Architecture and File System is changed and the cards can be used without any special HW Reader in Windows.

For S7-300/S7-400 and the (Micro)MemoryCards the handling everytime the same and not chanced!
You need everytime a special HW Reader to store or restore data on the MMC !

This was what i say. And that was the thing was asked for!
