How to made connection between TIA and SQL?

Hello all,

Regarding mySQL or SQL database, i have problems with connection ODBC and TIA runtime Advanced.

I'm not sure how to made connection between TIA and SQL, on SQL manager i made database also the same in the ODBC, but i'm not sure where i  need to set some setting in TIA.

on the forum i found few examples with SQL logging but when i start it i always receive the same error of missing ODBC connection..

Could you please provide me some manual how to setup connection.. for the query.s is not problem, i already made some scripts ..

Before Tia Runtime, i was using another scada systems and there was necessary to put database name, port .... but in TIA i didn't find these option ..

Also question for the SQL data logging we need some additional licence, because from time to time i receive error that licence key is not available.

ps. i'm using Runtime Advanced 

Probably you have some manual or instructions ...

Yes I already read the datasheets, and look up the examples. I made new app 'step by step' like is in manual. The only difference is in the SQL version, but that probably isn't a problem, i'm using 2014 management studio and the newer TIA portal.. I create the database with same name like in example, also ODBC connector is well done without any error..  also i can create new tables in manager but when i try the same with TIA i always receive the same error with connection between ODBC and TIA ..
