How to make a flash picture around an object when we move the mouse on it.

nghaiha Posts: 33 Rating: (3)	Hi, There are many Graphic Objects on my HMI, so I would like to attract User by showing a rectangle around each Graphic Object whenever User moves the mouse on them. Unfortunately, WinCC doesn't supply MouseMove event (only Mouse Action, Press left, Release left ...)... I'm very sure we can do that, but how?

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, you could ask the mouspointers x and y coordinates. Then when you know the x-y coordinates from the objects you could change the objects. But this would then be with a cyclic action I presume and that is very performance consuming. If I were you I would try and find something else to attract the attention with regards, Ikkezelf

I would suggest you to use "Software digital point" from ASHRAE Controls & Equipment. Make SymbolAppearence = Hollw, Stretch = Yes.Put the object on top of your object. Next on Object Properties, Event page, Object Events, there is MouseMove event. Here you can bind some action (C or VBS) to do something when user place mouse pinter over the rectangle. One of the disadvantages is that the color of the rectangle (Software digital point) could not be changed, so you will have black howwol rectange arrownd the objects. If you want you can consider another idea. Place a button over your objects with Dynamic Filling = Yes, amd Fill Level = 0. I am 100% aggreed with the opinion of Ikkezelf - this thing are definetly not important!!! regards, Svetozar Yolov
