how to make decimal point?

Sulung Bronze Member Joined: 5/26/2007 Last visit: 11/21/2024 Posts: 127 Rating: (3)	i am new to wincc. i have s7 315-2dp and wincc 6.2. i have a temperature that i need to monitor. the data from plc is in interger. suppose my plc have a data of 345. i need to display it in wincc as 34,5 *C. i use i/o field and i could display the value. the problem is it show 345. i need to display it as 34,5. what should i do? thank you in advance.

At the variable declaration: select datatype "float 32 Bit" then use the format conversation "float to signed word" Now you are able to select a decimal point at the i/o field. "float 32 Bit" is the type inside WinCC "signed word" (integer) is the type inside the PLC
