How to Open .csv format file in 1200 Comfort Panel

Devendra Thakur Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear All, As i have created some event log which are getting stored on my USB (pen drive) in .csv format, But we are not able to open it in TP 1200 HMI. We have also tried all the possibilities of format like .xls, .xlxs, .xlst but still the problem consist. Please find attached error for reference. The excel viewer functionality working properly as we have checked with other excel file which are opening in .xlsx format with out any problem. Please suggest if any body knows how to resolve it.... It only read Excel files and if you create by your own an Excel file with a script you have to use the correct syntax, that is not a simple CSV file.

CSV is not an Excel Format!! The only way to oben a csv File on a Comfort panel is to use the Webbrowser but then you will see only the native text of the File without columns formated like in Excel or a csv Viewer. look in the toolbox there is als a solution to readout the csv File again but only with the help of a lot of scrips: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/106226404 Bye Murof
