how to open retentive timer program in tia v12?

TQ Hello, If you want to open this project "Retentive timer.zip " , you need STEP 7,Try File--> retrieve.For opening the same project in TIA Portal,I think you need a migration and I guess both applications should exists on the working machine! TQ For the moment I can not convert the program for you.. maybe someone else will be so kind as to do that for us. What I can do however is show you coding which I guess was the intention. Included is also a rough estimation of what the "retentive timer" does for S7-200 / S7-1200 PLCs. Is there a specific reason for asking? User only asked how open a File "Attachment:Retentive timer.zip (182 Downloads)" and it is logical because The file can not be opened via TIA Portal(STEP 7 project). A wrong spliting of a thread caused all these confusions.I strongly believe that they should be merged again and I am looking forward to reading more similar comments. Regards, Hamid Hosseini

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1198)	Thanks for the note. I did understand the intentions of the posting. I was rather wondering if CJ THEN had a particular reason for asking. Did he ask for extending his knowledge or is there an application he needs solving. Let us give him chance to explain.
