When a error occurs the CPU looks for the correspondenting Error OB and starts it. If the OB is not loaded, the CPU goes to STOP. The OB can be empty, if you only want to prevent the CPU to stop. In your final program the error OB should not be necessary any more, or have a programmed reaction to the error. Hi Marcjan, I had tried various interrupt OB but the CPU just went into stop mode whether I simulated an error (disconnect the expansion unit). Rgds, Wee Hong |
