How to read a FEPROM

Hi all!

Does anybody know how to read a FEPROM 6ES7-951-0KD00-0AA0? Does it have a compact flash port at the back? I do not have a PG and also I will not have access to the card, because the client has it. I will only have access to it on site.

Hello,

no for this type of card you need a special reader.

This can be a builtin Reader of a PG or a extern USB reader

(USB Prommer https://mall.industry.siemens.com/mall/en/de/Catalog/Product/6ES7792-0AA00-0XA0)

This card can't only used with Step7, the Fileformat is not compatible with Windows!

If you format this card in Windows you can't in use longer with the PLC!
