I need a pretty quick hint on this since I cannot figure it out.

I wanna read the Drive (S120) Alerts ("A") . But only the active Alerts that we have now, not the oldest ones.

Example: if I go online with Scout with Sinamics Integrated I see in the alarm window (example):

A 12345
A 10340
A 15000

I would like to read the ACTUAL Alerts only and, thus, have only that three Alerts in what I read with readdriveparameter function as result.

If I reset all the alerts from Scout and so these three Alerts are gone, I would like that my readdriveparameters function returns nothing... But it returns again these old ones, like it's an historic thing.

I read the parameter number 2122.

What can I do ?

Read p2111 to get the number of faults that have not been acknowledged (reset).

Use that # to index through the fault tables to get codes. Refer to List Manual, found here: List Manual S120/S150 (siemens.com) 

Go to page 2161.  Refer to the function diagram on how to read out the faults.

To me it looks like you use the count so you know how far to read into the fault buffers for "unack" faults, and the remainder of the fault tables are for ack alarms (old).

Probably for tomorrow I can get the solution.

I am talkng about Alerts , not Faults. so A12345 not F12345.

The readdrivefaults works perferctly since I see only the active FAULTS that are in the drive. That's ok.

For the alerts I read the 2122 or even the 2110 (probably you mistyped since 2111 seems to not exist), but I see the Alert in position 0 of the array that was acknowledged probably yesterday and never happened again... And If I read the 2122 or 2110 parameter I obtain an array of 8 words where the 7 are 000000 but the first is 1796... But if I go onoine with Scout I do not see any Alert active...

I need to read only the alert that are currently active and not acknowledged

That 2111 says how many alerts are ACTIVE in this moment (let's say N)

So if I get from the 2122 a list of 8 UINTS with the Alert Codes I have just to read the first N.

Let's make a last example:

P2111 = 3

I expect then to have :

R2122[0] = "I do not care because P2111 is not >=8"
R2122[1] = "I do not care because P2111 is not >=7"
R2122[2] = "I do not care because P2111 is not >=6"
R2122[3] = "I do not care because P2111 is not >=5"

That's why I also provided the function diagram reference and the link to the manual I was looking at.  It shows you how things work.

In my 10 second look, it seems like you understood and have a workable solution.

that trick seems to now work because that number says all the Alerts that are present in the buffer, not the acknowledged or the active ones.

I think that 2125 is more effective since I can read the acknowledge time (0 = alert still active; <> 0 meanse alert already ack'ed).

You think it's a workable solution ? I do not have (yet) any simotion here
