Hello, Look at this entry: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26662448 And more specific the item: Connection via a standard DSL Router with Port Forwarding (English) I guess that your problem resides in the fact that in many cases a router conntected to Intrenet is usin NAT (network address translation). And incoming traffic on a NAT routre is an issue that can be solved via port forwarding. And because the public address of common Internet access may cahnge over time (if you do not rent a fixed IP address), you can help to fiind out the current IP via DynDNS. And as you told, you have to put the public address in your Step7 project when you access from remote. Pay aatention that you can only reach one PLC behind the router by that way. Else you will have to use VPN, which is also described in the entry above. |
