How to read data sheet

Hi Experts,

It may be strange question from me. I have attached a data sheet, i am getting confused with below queries while reading. Please guide me what to refer for below queries:-

1. Input and Output capacity of controller.
2. How many profinet net I/O device (i.e. IM/CPU) it can handle.
3. How many bytes it can exchange with one I/O Device using profinet.
4. How many bytes it can exchange with max no. of profinet I/O device in line.

Its clear for me that using one DP master can handle Max 32 slaves, 128 nodes,2048 bytes and max 244 bytes per slave. 

Correct me if iam wrong.

Thanks for your reply. For point no 2 No. of connectable I/O device means can i connect 128 CPU of same make ?

Point 1 and 3 are clear. I have also attached some snapshots of data sheet which needs to be cleared.

Subprocess images
● Number of subprocess images, max.	1; With PROFINET IO, the length of the user data is limited to 1600 bytes

its there in sheet, page 4/13.

hi vinit,

for 2. it means that you can connect 128 IO-devices. This can be any IO-device, such as IM151 or any CPU as I-device.

process images contain a no. of IO adresses that are read or written consistant together.

for example: before OB1 cycle the process-image of inputs are read in and after OB-cycle the process image of outputs are written.

With subprocess-images you can provide data to other OBs or tasks. the (sub-)process-images can be also read/written manually by SFCs.

What does Transfer Memory and Submodues indicated in attached file.

hi vinit,

when you use the CPU as IO-Device you need to project transfer areas. these can have a maximum of 1440 byte and can be devided in submodules.
