How to read in the format of strings that are defined in GSD?

Hello,

Can you please let me know if we can view device diagnostics in PLC in the form of names that are defined in GSD of the slave device? I am able to read the diagnostics in hex format in window "Module Information"(as shown in attached snapshot). However I do not know how to read in the format of strings that are defined in GSD.

Thanks for the info. Any idea if PLC has the support to interpret the hex value of extended diagnostics into the strings provided in the device's GSD file?
