How to Read the Actual Values from S120 to CPU ET200s DP Module

Just i want to read some parameter from S120 like Actual Speed, Actual Current in Amps, Current fault Code and alarm Code. I have using telegram 999 (User Defined) in my configuration. I have Sucessfully read the Current fault code and Current Alarm code from drive(Word Formet). But I dont know which data type i have configured to read the RPM actual dc link voltage, current form drive to PLC.Because all are real data types but there is no real data type in telegram selection.Also i have configured in double word in drive and read the same parameter in PLC which data type. If real or double word I have attached the scerrn shots for reading data form drive. The drivers often use a normalisated value. Here is a extract of a document describing it for a SINAMICS G120, the S120 is similar, the parameter numbers may be different: The setpoint and actual values are transferred as a standard. The normalization or reference values are stored in parameters P2000 to P2006 of SINAMICS G120C. The following applies: 16384Dec = 4000Hex = 100% whereby 100% refers to the reference value for the transferred parameter. Example: If P2000 (reference speed or reference frequency) is 1500 1/min and a speed of 500 1/min shall be performed, then 33% or 5461dec must be transferred. Further information is available in the operating instruction for SINAMICS G120C.

During my Pre commissioning I tested the pumps through starter commissioning software control panel. Its running ok. But I have give the command from PLC digital output the drive not on. Also "F07840 Drive: Infeed operation missing" fault occured. There is a active line module ON command missing. Please tel if i will give continuous OFF1 command to active line module during pump stopped condition Its safety or not..i.e., I will give OFF1 command continuosly to active line module to build the Dc link voltage its safety or not. Regards

Old ALM without Drive-Click must be switchend on by terminal contact. You may use BiCo to copy the ON/off1 Bit to a DO of the CU and use a wire to transfer it to the ALM. But my configuration is different.Jus read the actual values only from the drive through profibus. I want to switch on the drive in two different thinks. 1. Give the ON/OFF command from PLC DO and speed control through analog output. In this condition as per yours advice i will use Siemens Telegram 370 to switch on the Active Line module. This is OK. 2 Also I want to start the pump with out plc. That means through push button. Now i will use the single command for ON/OFF1 pump only. In this condition how i will give the command to ALM. I want to run the pump in above both condition. Please help me Regards

Check the function diagrams of the ALM,with some BiCo connections it should be possible to configure the ALM in the way you need it. Maybe you should post this question in the SINAMICS conference.
