How to reset eMMC if forgot root password

Because to change the boot order to SD card, we need PuTTY or DP port which needs to login first. I'm not sure in this case UART cable will help or not? Will UART skip the login process? BR, Arkom P.

Either the menu pops up immediately (of you set "enabled" in the last configuration step) or you login as user and call sudo mel-setup (if user has sudo rights) With the UART cable you can interrup the boot and choose a boot-device --> boot from SD or USB. All this is described in this manual. Best regards!
