How to save DB Instance for FB blocks?

Do i have to generate DB instance for every FB block i use? Let's say i use 10xFB58 to controll heaters. Now I use 10xDB instance for that DB. Is it possible to do it in other way? Now maybe it's not a problem but If i have to use 100xFB, 100xDB would quickly short my resources of DB's Best regards

Therefor you have to call the 'heater-FB' from another FB (both FBs must possess multiple instance capability). In the calling FB you now can add the heater-FB in the STAT-section of the block-interface and call this instance in your code. (Have a look at this article). Please observe, that this increases the size of the calling FB-interface and the instance-DBs (maximum size of the DB depends on the CPU, but is max. 64 kB). Best regards, yy1
