Check out google for the lookup table reference values for your thermocouple as these are physical properties. This link http://mikegigi.com/thermocp.htmshows why perhaps your 0-100 and 100-400 are not so linearly related. Yes, create a DB with an array of values with the array index being a scaled voltage input (perhaps counts) and the correct temperature at that count value. It may be a bit of an exercise to make the table of values work, so be patient. There are also equations that describe the characteristics of TCs, though solving that equation every time may be scan-time tedious and wasteful. I wonder if someone already did this in the years s7 has been around and posted the code online somewhere. |
