How to send and receive sms with s7-1200?

MiguelSilva Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, I need to do a program that send and receive sms with s7-1200, i'm using module communication CM 1241 RS232 linked to a modem gsm(siemens TC35i),and i don't now how to do it. Does anyone how can help me?

However, the Application&Tools http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/pt/21063345show how to do it with S7-200. You can analise the solution and "translate" it to S7-1200...

MiguelSilva Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Thanks, I'll try to do it, but do not know why I can not do the update of converting s7-200 in s7-1200, i'vegot the SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic Version 10.5 SP2 and step 7-micro win installed in my pc and I can not install the update, gives the error that i let in an annex, ifanyone could help-me iwould appreciate. But there is now a libary available with a function block which can make a communication to a OPC - Server via GSM/GPRS modem SINAUT MD720-3 and send SMS through the modem. I just need to make a simple program that, when one output is active is sent a message to a mobile phone, and it is also possible to send messagesfromthemobile phone to theplc toactivate an entry. In TIA you will now find integrated functions for sending receiving SMS messages. The easiest way to get started, is to simply search in the built-in Help for TC_SEND and TC_RECV.
