And how large (in bytes) are the DBs to be transferred?

hi,

for SFB14/15 you need to establish a S7-connection. over this connection you can access the other CPU with PUT/GET.

Sample program: S7 communication with the blocks SFB14 ("GET") and SFB15 ("PUT") with S7-400

Another question:

The CPU 412-2 supports PROFINET. So why you do not establish a IO-Controller <=> I-Device connection or  use simple the open communication blocks?
