that depends on the environment you are using. 

With node-red it is more easy than with C/C++.

If you are using node-red you can use for example the s7 node to read out data from a PLC. In this case you just have to alloow PUT/GET communication in TIA Portal and use a non-optimized DB. 
Here is an example.
You can use the s7 input node insteasd of the slider in the sql PDF.

hi, i have a PUT communication on tia portal, on "SD_1" connected to mydb. But i dont know how to connect "ADDR_1", because this is address of IOT, can you give me solution?...
