Good day,

I`m a newbie in plc plogramming, and I have started to work on a project which was previously done with combined configuration, WinCC (TIA Portal) and STEP 7, but not by means of the “device proxy PLC” , as indicated in 73502293. And I would like to kindly ask for your help in understanding how was it done since in Device and networks in TIA the PLC is missing in my configuration? And also, I don't understand where you have to set the IP address of the CPU and the panel in TIA, in Device and networks or in Connections ?
I saw the answer "You just need to assign different IP addresses for your TP1500 and PLC which falls under the same network. And in the connections in TIA assign the particular address for the PLC as well as for the HMI, it just simply communicates " from Step 7 v5.5 and TP1500 panel via TIAV11 portal  post, but it's still not clear why is it necessary to assign 2 times different IP's ?
