How to set p2507 to '4'?

     In user manual, the description show below:

     I using S120 booksize with CU320,  How could I set p2507 to '4'? Only '0,1,2,3 available in pop-up selection menu for p2507

PISCEAN is right, you need to write the parameters acyclically. p2599, p2507 and p977 are not connectable to the telegram!

For acyclic communication you could use the "SINA_PARA(_S)" FB from the drive lib. The drive lib is automatically installed to TIA Portal if Startdrive is installed as well. Otherwise you can download the library here:

In the PLC you should program a step chain like this:

1. setting p2507 to 1

2. setting p2599 to the coordinate you want to set the axis

3. setting p2507 to 2

4. setting p977 to 1

read the manual of the block to ensure that the inputs (like adresses) are set correctly. Attention: The drive object ID is important!

      Yes, in Start V5.1 help and List manual, option '4' is not available.

       But I just found in StartDrive V15(TIA V15), the help file got different description, option 4 available.  The option 4 available in latest list manual. please check attachment.

       By set p2057 to 2, the r2521 is set to target position which preset in P2599, the offset p2525 is auto calculate as p2525=p2599-p2521(old).

      What I suppose to do is that, set reference position depending on p2525, the r2521(new)=r2521(oid) + p2525,  I can just input p2525 to do referencing, p2599 is neglected.

        It looks like option '4' meet my requirement.

       In Sinumerik 840D sl, we got this function,  perform reference by offset rather than preset target position. I wonder does CU320 controlled S120 got same function?(My firmware is latest version 5.1.1)

you can only set it to 1 or 2. If you set it to 2 it automatically goes to 3 when the adjustment is done.

In which manual did you find the value 4? If you go to the expert list and click on the help for p2507 there are only the values 0,1,2 and 3.

     The official latest version is V5.1.1, so do you have any info when this V5.2 release?

    Or is there any channel to acquire this V5.2 before it officially announce?

P2507=4 is vaiolable with FW Version V5.2 of S120.

So please check which FW you use, if you use a version <5.2 you can not set p2507=4.
