A customer have a s7 classic project with a 400 cpu.

And want to have a profibus communication with a new 1500 cpu done in Tia portal.

How to do this in a good way ?

As you see on page 40 communication is possible with the S7-400 as slave or with the S7-1500 and CP1542-5 as slave.

The 400 cpu needs to be master and should not be disturbed if the 1500 cpu stops.

Therefore you need the CP1542-5.

here you can find the Profibus GSD-files

With this files you can project the CP1542-5 as Profibus-node in Step7 5.5

1)DP/DP coupler :If both PLCs are master

2) As suggested by Mr Mop, Master slave configuration .

You need to  download the necessary OBs in S7400 PLC to avoid PLC STOP even if S71500(slave) in stop mode.

It will give error indication as slave device failure.
