how to show discrete or analog values on the screen?

You need an opc server either siemens or some one else . there is a free one available but I can recall the name right now |

Have you considered using S7 1200 Web Server functionality for this purpose? You can create some impressive HMI like visuals. Please see S7 1200 web server tutorial for some good examples No extra software is required for that. |
