How to test communication using CP5611 A2 PCI Card

kid237 Posts: 158 Rating: (3)	Hello there, Ihave a CP611 A2 with me now, and i have to test it(weather its in working conditon or not). I need soe assistance on i should do it. what software should i use? S7 or protool? is there at procedures??

If you have SIMATIC NET installed than you can open the PG/PC Interface settings. there is, if you select the CP 5611 PROFIBUS or MPI on the right side the Button Diagnose you can verify the connection to the Bus and which nodes can be detected by the CP. Usually this is the best Test possibility. Best regards J_Bell
