How to transfer data from the CPU1200 (CM1242-5 module) via PROFIBUS to the HMItouch panel - which is already used in (DCS - Distributed Control System)? Only the HMI panel model is known and there is no way to change DCS.

Everything will depend on the type of HMI touchpanel you are using in this project (you have not described it in your original quetsion).

The CM 1242-5 is a Priofibus slave module. therefore the HMI panel must act as a Profibus-DP master class 1 in the network. Normally a Siemens panel acts as a Profibus master class 2, and you need to connect it to another Profibus master, nnd you would need a CN 1243-5 modukle (Priofibus master module).

If the HMI panel is in fact a Profibus master class 1, then you need to add the gsd file of the CM 1242-5 in its configuration software for Profibus, so the master can select the CM 1242-5 as a slave, and configure the data areas for master-slave exchanges.
